Product Description

Viscose yarn, also known as rayon yarn, is a type of yarn made from regenerated cellulose fibers. It is a semi-synthetic fiber produced from wood pulp or other plant-based materials.

Here are some key aspects of viscose yarn:

The production process of viscose yarn mainly includes the following steps:

Fiber preparation: Select suitable fibers as raw materials, such as viscose fiber (also known as artificial jute fiber). The fiber needs to be pre-treated, including cleaning, impurity removal, etc., to ensure the quality and purity of the fiber.

Fiber opening: the pre-treated fiber is sent to the opening machine, and the fiber is loosened through the action of mechanical force and air flow, which is convenient for subsequent spinning treatment.

Fiber juxtaposition: the fiber after opening is sent to the juxtaposition machine, and the fiber is juxtaposition through the action of the juxtaposition machine to form a fiber belt.

Fiber stretching: the fiber belt is fed into the stretching machine, and the fiber in the fiber belt is stretched through the action of the stretching machine to increase the length and strength of the fiber.

Fiber spinning: the stretched fiber belt is fed into the spinning machine, and the fiber belt is spun into yarn after the spinning machine is processed. The working principle of the spinning machine is to stretch, twist and refine the fiber strips, so that the fibers are combined with each other to form yarn.

Viscose treatment: The spun yarn is treated with viscose. Viscose treatment is to soak the yarn in a viscose solution so that a layer of viscose is attached to the surface of the yarn. The addition of viscose can increase the strength and gloss of the yarn.

Yarn finishing: finishing the yarn after viscose treatment, including cleaning, impurity removal, drying, etc., to improve the quality and purity of the yarn.

Packaging: The finished viscose yarn is packed, usually with paper or plastic tubes for winding, so as to facilitate transportation and storage.

8. Availability: Viscose yarn is widely available in craft stores and online, making it easily accessible for crafters and hobbyists.

Overall, the advantages of using viscose yarn include its softness, breathability, drape, color vibrancy, versatility, eco-friendliness, affordability, and availability. These benefits make viscose yarn a popular choice for creating comfortable, visually appealing, and versatile knitted or crocheted items.
